Welcome to Boardflare, which includes this website and our app extensions for Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, together our "Services." By using our Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms of use, along with our privacy policy. If you disagree with any part of these terms, do not use our Services.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: All Services, including all functions, source code, and calculators, are provided strictly for academic, educational, and example use cases only. They are NOT intended for commercial use where economic or other risks exist. You must not rely on them for calculations that have consequences without independently checking and verifying their accuracy.

The terms 'us' or 'we' refer to the owner of the Services. The term 'you' refers to the user or viewer of the Services.

  1. Academic and Example Use Only The Services, including all provided formulas, functions, calculations, and algorithms, are provided exclusively for academic and example purposes. They are explicitly not designed, intended, or authorized for use in commercial, financial, engineering, or any other contexts where economic, safety, or other significant risks exist. You are strictly prohibited from relying on the Services for any consequential calculations without thorough, independent verification of their accuracy.

No Warranty ("As-Is" and "As-Available") The Services are provided strictly "as-is" and "as-available" without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We explicitly disclaim any warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any calculation result, algorithm, or output produced by the Services. We do not guarantee that the Services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

  6. Changes to Services and Source Code We reserve the right to modify, update, deprecate, or remove any part of the Services, including functions, calculators, algorithms, and source code, at any time and without prior notice. We do not guarantee ongoing support or backward compatibility for any specific function or feature.

  7. Limitation of Liability We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to economic loss, loss of profits, data loss, or damages resulting from incorrect calculation results in our add-ins or online web calculators. You are solely responsible for the outcomes of using the Services, and you assume full responsibility for verifying all outputs. By using the Services, you release us from any and all liability and agree to indemnify us against any claims or damages resulting from your use or reliance on the Services.

  8. Third-Party Content The Services may include links to third-party websites or content. We do not endorse or take responsibility for the accuracy or reliability of third-party content.

  9. Support These terms do not entitle you to any support for the Services.

  10. Governing Law Your use of the Services and any disputes arising from such use are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
